  3. I found this resource useful and very effective. Writing can be a very difficult task to perform and mistakes are unavoidable. This site is helpful when it comes to locating or identifying the errors in one's writing. It gives sufficient information and clear instructions of what and what not to do. One example of these common mistakes that I usually get confused is the proper use and placement of commas in my writing. I tend to either overuse or scarcely put commas because I doubt if I made the right choice or not. Today's class activities are interesting. The class discussion about analysis by division was a good outline to use when writing essays. Not only it was easy, it also helps the writer understand and focus on the main points of his or her own topic.

That is the best way to correct yourself, to realize your faults. Today's activities were interesting. The method of learning how to describe a person or an object will help to identify certain aspects which you would want to put in your essay. This way of thinking will be very useful for all our future essays.

  5. This resource is useful. I find that I do make these types of mistakes when I am writing any essay. I still need to work on the usage of commas, effect and affect, and the usage of hyphens. The resource has taught me the usages of them by giving me examples on how to use them. I will use this resource on my essays for future references. In addition to today's activities we read chapter 09 titled " Analysis by Division: Examining the parts", done exercises one, two, and three. Also today's activities consists of the readings of "The Golden Oldies" and "The Zones of the Sea" together with exercises four and five.

    1. I certainly agree with you because I still need to work on using hyphens, the difference between effect and affect, and the uses of hyphens, many times I use them because I would deem it appropriate even though it is grammatically incorrect. The short essay on Golden Oldies is my favorite because I found it very relatable when it's my parents and I in a car arguing over which station to listen to the short essay was funny and yet true.

  6. I found this URL helpful. Often in writing you do not notice the common mistakes that are constantly made when doing so, but it's always the most simple mistakes that we are troubled with. One for example that was provided in the URL was the confusion between affect and effect. I am guilty of constantly getting these two words confused with each other and luckily I was able to learn the difference between them since this activity. Today's activity was great especially the fact that we are able to do it the examples amongst each other. It gives us a better understanding of the lesson being taught.

    1. Like you, I also get these two words confused. There was this one time that I got a minus ten on my English homework because I misused the word affect. I used it in a sentence in a way that it meant "effect". From then on, after making that error, I studied how these two words should be used in a text.I practiced writing them in a sentence until I knew what their differences were. I agree that today's activity where we took turns in answering some given practices, gave us a better understanding of our topic.

Doing thing last minute is just the worst way possible and never get through with life. People need to be awake most of the time because reality hit like earth revolving in the next lunar eclipse. Everyone need to get prepare what would come up such as a test. Writing a good essay will help you to write how you usually write in your other classes.
