  1. Reviewing and Reflecting on the Common Mistakes of English Grammar, Mechanics and Punctuations. I did find these examples useful. I find it useful because it has quick and easy examples of right and wrong forms of grammar and punctuations. I also printed out a copy of it. I may need to look back later when I need to. Resourceful because I sometimes forget to avoid unnecessary commas and run on sentences. Everything else seems to come easily except those frequent commas I tend to use.

Divide the unit into parts according to principle 4. Discuss each part relating to the unit. Then we did an exercise on Text-Based. It was interesting.

  3. I found this resource to be very useful. Sometimes in writing we forget about the minute details that are important in every piece of writing we do. Using this resource we can go back to what we are writing and make sure we did not make any of these common mistakes. Regarding today's activities, I did not know that roman numerals played such a big part in analysis by division. I will be sure to include roman numerals in the organization process.

This is a good guide to use when writing essays so that we are aware of making mistakes that would not confuse our readers. We should use commas when appropriate and do not write fragment sentences in order to have our readers attention.

With this resource, we can go back and correct all of the mistakes we might have made. Today's activities were very interesting. We discussed Analysis by Division in which we take a topic and describe it in as much detail as possible. 15. I find this resource to be most useful especially for peer reviewing/ editing the common mistakes in an essay. The most common mistakes are mostly overlooked when students reread your first draft or the final draft. Each section has examples of what to and not to write. After reading this and looking at my previous essays, I realized that I overlooked some important common mistakes.
Today's class activity is resourceful. I am getting the idea of an analysis of division. It seems similar to an outline. In this exercise, it explains how something works or exists as a unit and to break it down into parts (components).
