  1. I definitely found this resource to be very useful because I was confused of when it was appropriate to use apostrophes and hyphens. During my EN085 I remember being instructed not to use apostrophes. Although, the site provided good examples of what were wrong or right sentences. I shall print out a copy so I can look back later for extra help because sometimes cannot retain all this information.

I had no clue that we could not use words like "he" or "his"! Today's activities were very interesting. 16. I positively found this resource very helpful, because i repeatedly make mistakes dealing with punctuation, apostrophes, and hyphens etc.. And every time i try to find a source to help me when i do need help with a sentence dealing with the above, i have to take educated guess with what words would be best used for a complete sentence. I definitely would recommend this to all EN100 and below classes because it really helps a lot. Above all today's activities so far are very educational especially today's activity dealing with the writing process worksheet because i still have yet to master this, why do i say that? is because on some stages i am not to sure what to choose from such as stage one dealing with freewrite, brainstorm, and cluster.. Also the brain stretcher thankful for that because it really does wake up my brain every time i come into class.

After writing an essay, writers should revise and look for correction, so that that the sentence would be effectively written. Mistakes happen to everyone and revising it ensure that the essay would be well-written and in proper form. Words could change the effectiveness of an essay because it would flow elegantly with the usage of proper words.

  18. when looking at the resource I personally found it to be extremely informative. As a writer I know well enough that i make many mistakes while writing. One of the many mistakes that I make is address the general audience as a him or her. Though looking at this resource I found that that was not the only mistake that I made. I found that my usage between was and were is extremely shaky, and i commonly use was in the place where were is appropriate. In conclusion, this resource is meant to shed light on common mistakes made to help us in the long run to improve our writing capabilities.

I usually cannot understand what sentences have grammar errors, but I know what sentences are not grammatical. From this resource, I learn to write sentences in better way, and find grammar errors. Today's activities were really helpful to me because I could learn to write sentences in better way from an essay. Moreover, in exercise, I could remind to use stage one and two before I write an essay.
