    3. I never got bored in this class. The best part during class is when everyone shares something about themselves such as their likes, dislikes, favorite foods, comfort zones, and hobbies.

    4. Yes, the best part of this class was being able to speak out without feeling out of place. It was a good feeling of existence.

  6. I want to say thank you my fellow classmates for a very interesting, fun, and cool experience. Being in this class with people with different types of views in life and heritage was a very interesting class to have which made me want to come to this class every time their was a meeting. It was pleasure to have all of you as classmates. Most importantly I want to thank Dr. Rivera for the most fun way to experience in En100 and doing my work I had no stress on saying how much I hate this class, never once came to that point which makes this a special class for me. Honestly its this moodle/blog entry that makes this class even more interesting and more on getting to know our classmates, because reading everyone of you opinions on a specific topic or essay made me know I am not the only one who has problems, and I am glad we tackled this course together and effectively learned what we need to going onto EN110. Hope to see you all in the near future, in another class or what ever. Wish you all the best of luck!

    2. I thought taking a hybrid class would be difficult, but I really don't regret anything at all! It is such a blessing to have a wonderful professor who is very energetic, fun, and encouraging! She can easily comprehend with us and answer all of our questions. I appreciate it when she corrects me when I'm doing something wrong. I don't get embarrassed. Instead, I learn from it to avoid making the same mistakes in the future.

    3. I agree we all probably struggled with some of the essays, but I am glad we are all leaving this class together! LEAVE NO MAN BEHIND :)LOL:)

  7. This semester has been great. This class has taught a lot in such a short amount of time. It has given me the tools and the confidence I will need to excel in my future courses. I would like to thank Dr. Rivera for expanding my knowledge in writing. I would like to thank all my fellow classmates for assisting me in my peer editing. I love the fact that we all helped each other learn. Well for those of you that will be attending summer school I hope we have classes together and for those that do not have summer school, enjoy your break and I'll see you in the fall. The only thing I have left to say is to stay motivated throughout college. Have tunnel vision and set your sights on that degree and it will come. Thank you all, God Bless.

  8. I never thought I would enjoy EN100. Dr. Rivera, you taught English to a whole new level. I learned more than I did in my high school years. I won't forget the lovely faces of my classmates. It was a great, fun, and educational experience with you all! I thought this class was pretty easy and it will help prepare myself for higher English courses. Two pages of writing wasn't hard like I thought it would be. Throughout this semester, I loved how everyone shared a little history about themselves. We could all relate to each other on many things. I hope you all have a safe, fun, and memorable summer! Always remember that you all have great potential and can succeed in anything!

  9. First of all, I would like to say that it was truly a rewarding experience having to learn from an instructor like you. Dr. Matilda Naputi Rivera in all my years of schooling I have met two of the most kind, understanding and patient instructors this includes Dr. Julie Ulloa-Heath. As I continue my journey through college I find that I become more and more successful everyday. In terms of my writing skills I have developed great knowledge and experience. With theses skills I am able to apply it through College English 110. This is a gift as to helping me in the future. Thank you for all that you taught me during Spring semester 2014. Because of you I am a better writer. It was a pleasure having you as an instructor. Thank you again.
As for my fellow classmates, Deion and Terek were the most enthusiastic and humorous people. Joseph, Joseph, Joseph you are impressively talented, creative and smart. I loved your presentations! Jose, you seem to potentially have great public speaking skills. I can see you as a lawyer, congressmen or even a doctor. Mia, you have the nicest hair a woman can ever have. Rae, you are always smiling and it makes me want to reflect on your happiness. Chelsey and Bryant you are our classroom love, you rock! Dylan is best dressed. Celine and Kriana are too sweet, beautiful and soft spoken. John Michael is tall and handsome. Yolanda and Geena are quiet and shy. Christian is funny and cute. Now, if I did not mention you I do apologize but I will never forget you. It was nice having you all this semester. Until we meet again but for Celine, I will miss you and good luck in Saipan my friend. God bless you all. Do not drink and drive. Be safe. Adios, Love, Patty T. Aldan :)))

  15. EN 100 was a class that was much different than every other class I had this semester. The main reason is because I know so many of your names. I cannot thank you enough for making this class more than just a boring lecture, but making it an experience that I will always remember fondly. I am really honored to know all of you guys. :)
